A bit about how it all started!

For years I’ve tanned myself, Harold and many other competitors. We’ve tried it all, Sunbeds, Pro Tan, Jan Tana, Panatta, Dream Tan. Hours painting on coats of tan. Worrying if we were dark enough, if there were people to help us tan backstage. Messy clothes, sheets, toilet seats!!!

When I turned Pro and started competing abroad and in America I saw an easier tanning solution, all the Pro’s were professionally airbrushed. No mess, no fuss, just book, turn up and let someone else do the work. Fantastic!!!

It was at the British Championships 2007, while applying the fourth coat of tan to one of Britain’s top figure girls, in our hotel room that I finally thought there has to be an easier way

I went home, booked myself onto a Spray Tanning training course to ensure I had the proper qualifications and insurance. I got in touch with Donna , the Official distributor for Jan Tana in the UK, who gave me lots of advice and Show Tan was born!!

With my years of competitive experience I know how important it is to have a good tan. A good tan can bring out more detail and enhance your physique; a bad tan will not do a great physique justice

Your oil or sheen is just as important. Too much can mask your lines and separation, while not enough will not highlight your detail.
